While Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, reaches out to the opposition it is his party's own allies ,that might turn out to be difficult to appease. The Trinamool Congress as usual is leading the pack.Mamata Banerjee has moved fresh amendments to the bill over the issue of Lokyukta .This one's quite a surprise for Congress since her party has earlier voted in support of the government on Lokpal in the Lok Sabha. The party however changed its stand in the Rajya Sabha.Trinamool's new amendment is over the issue of the bill attacking the federal structure it is unhappy over the power vested in the central covernment to appoint the Lokyukta.Mamata feels government at the centre could misuse the provision to make life difficult for states ruled by opposition parties. This issue may also become a rallying point for other parties such as Samajwadi Party and the BSP that recently bailed out the centre in Parliament over the controversial issue of the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC)
